Massive consumer cycling show expands to Providence, Rhode Island

More than 6,000 cycling enthusiasts expected to attend

Boulder, CO and Providence, RI – July 25, 2011 – The ultimate bargain treasure hunt for cycling enthusiasts is headed East. VeloSwap has earned a reputation as one of the largest consumer cycling shows in the country, offering deals for cyclists in Denver for more than two decades. On October 8th and 9th, VeloSwap will debut in Providence, Rhode Island at the Roger Williams State Park as part of the Providence Cyclocross Festival.

“The entire festival is about celebrating every element of cycling. A true celebration of all things cycling, the event features the opportunity to buy, sell and recycle new and used bicycles and equipment. Beginner and expert cyclists can up their game with sports clinics and interactions with cycling celebrities. The 2011 VeloSwap will also showcase an expanded EcoVillage and product sampling. More than 6,000 visitors are expected to attend the two day event.

VeloSwap Providence takes place from 9:00am – 4:00pm on Saturday and Sunday, October 8th and 9th. The 23rd annual Subaru Denver VeloSwap returns to the National Western Complex in Denver, Colorado on Saturday, October 22nd.
